The Road to Round Rock wraps up in Big Sky Country as Montana State University will host the 2025 Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference Playoffs. On April 25th and 26th, four Division I teams and four Division II teams will compete at the Dobbie Lambert Turf Field for the RMLC Championship and a bid to the MCLA National Tournament.
The Road to Round Rock starts President's Day weekend with the Rocky Mountain Rumble in Denver, Co. After that the Cats travel to Minot, ND for a battle with the UMLC. In March, the Cats will play a series of RMLC conference games before taking on the Grizzlies for the Copper Cup. In April, the Cats will host College of Idaho before traveling to Glendive and Sheridan for conference games. April wraps up with the RMLC Championship the 25th-26th. The season concludes in Round Rock, Texas with the MCLA National Championship Tournament from May 5th-10th.
The 5th Annual Cats Lacrosse Alumni Weekend started off with a bang at the Cats Classic Golf Tournament at Bridger Creek on Friday. Saturday morning got the festivities started with the Blue vs Gold vs Old Games. After the games, the team enjoyed the tailgate and football game. During the football game, the 2024 National Championship Team was honored.
In its first visit to the MCLA Division II National Championship Game, No. 4 Montana State knocked off No. 2 St. Thomas, 12-7, to win the 2024 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance.
